Do Not Disturb


Most of us use our personal cell phone as our business phone (hello, tax write off!) but it can be extremely frustrating when clients abuse that contact number when they get a wild hair at 3:00am that they "need" to change their appointment that's not until next week. Keep your sanity and utilize the "Do Not Disturb" function on your phone to keep business communications during business hours. I respond to clients during the next business hours and do not make any apology for not responding immediately either on my days off or if outside of my business hours. I may be the business owner, but that does not make me a slave to my business!
