Although I'm not a proponent for working for free, strategic trading of services can and should be a great way for both service providers to build and grow their network of industry pros and a part of your marketing plan to get new clients. Open communication and an equal value of traded services is key to a successful trade. Don't be afraid to make sure you're both on the same page about the expectation and it should be equal and mutually beneficial!
